I’m excited for this kind of automation, especially when I wouldn’t require any sort of hub for some of these automations. Yes, that’s right…if you scan these tags and you directly associate them with a SwitchBot product (even an IR controlled device), you’ll get automation without the SwitchBot Hub Plus or SwitchBot Hub Mini.
The new #SwitchBot #NFC #Tags are pretty good, and I think what you’ll find is that there is a bit of delay when you scan these and run scenes or directly associate them, but overall they are really good. I don’t mind the delay in this case, as my phone is doing all the work and I am often physically moving something.
